The Blood Sentinels are guardians of the seals in the Vault of Tears which are connected to the entrance of the castle's soul cell.
Description[]
There are three blood sentinels who guard each of three seals throughout the Vault of Tears.
- Archivist - Blood Sentinel I, guardian of the Triangle Seal
- Stone Demon - Blood Sentinel II, guardian of the Circle Seal
- MX-Goliath Blood sentinel III, guardian of the Square Seal

Warning: Spoilers/plot details follow.
In Infinity Blade II, after Siris defeated Thane and opened the initial seal at the entrance to the Worker of Secrets' soul cell (costing him his life), after being rebirthed he proceeded to return to the Vault of Tears to open each of the three seals.
Gameplay[]
The blood sentinels are each the following type and are first encountered at the following levels:
- Archivist - Large (Dual), level 50
- Stone Demon - Giant, level 75
- MX-Goliath - Monstrosity, level 100
If Siris is defeated by a blood sentinel, the rebirth is ended and a new one begins.
Trivia[]
- Being forced to start a new rebirth can be avoided by closing Infinity Blade II from the task bar. If a blood sentinel is defeated, Siris places his arm in the seal that the sentinel guarded, unlocking it. This process also kills Siris and begins a new Rebirth.
- The Stone Demon was confirmed to have been the second Blood Sentinel and not the Plated Guard who was crushed by it.
- The MX-Goliath was confirmed to be the third Blood Sentinel, and not the EXO-Pilot.
- It is possible to kill two blood sentinels in one rebirth. This is done by defeating the Stone Demon, and then closing IB2 from multitasking. Upon reopening the app, the player will remain alive and be able to navigate to the location of the MX-Goliath.
