Currency is used to purchase inventory items in Infinity Blade I, Infinity Blade II, and Infinity Blade III.
Overview[]
The Infinity Blade series features two currencies: gold and chips. Gold is a standard currency available in all games. It is earned by defeating Titans, opening chests, or collecting gold bags scattered throughout the game world. As the Bloodline, Rebirth, or Awakening systems progress, gold rewards increase. Gold is represented by the
symbol.
Chips are a premium currency introduced in Infinity Blade III. They are obtained by completing goals, defeating Titans, completing challenges (requires Siris’ Battle Challenges skill), or occasionally during a Deathless Quest. Chips are used to purchase items in the supplies inventory, including maps, gems, potions, prize wheels, keys, and even dance moves.
Following the end of official developer support, in-app purchases were disabled. Previously, gold could be purchased with real money in set amounts. Purchased gold applied automatically to all player characters, including those created after the purchase and those in NewGame+. Purchases linked to an active Apple ID could be restored via the Restore Purchases option in the menu. In Infinity Blade III, purchases were synchronized through ChAIR Entertainment’s now-disabled cloud-saving feature.
