Heavy weapons are a class of two-handed weapons in Infinity Blade II and Infinity Blade 3. They attack slowly, but deal more damage than light and dual weapons. A heavy weapon combo (200% damage) is simply two strikes in the same direction. After a combo, the player can also "slash" the enemy for additional damage (this is similar to a light weapon stab), but there is no elemental damage. The more precise and aligned a slash is with the on-screen arrow, the more damage it will cause. Like stabs however, slashes will not apply elemental attack effects.

They do not allow for the use of shields or dodging. Instead, the player can use the weapon to block attacks, even ones that must normally be dodged. Heavy weapon blocks, unlike shield blocks, must be aligned with the enemy attack. Center attacks must be blocked with the center block icon. Blocking with a heavy weapon depletes shield endurance, which increases by one point every time you parry an attack or receive an attack.

Heavy weapons have the disadvantage of hampering the player's defending abilities. They can make the attacks of enemies whose multi-hit attacks change directions nearly instantly exceptionally difficult to block. Also, if you are not equipped with the correct elemental resistance gem, you will be much more likely to take elemental damage in many cases where the titan does not use their weapon to attack you unless you perform Perfect Blocks, or if you choose not to parry weapon attacks. It is recommended to extensively practice landing Perfect Blocks, or equip a Rare Defense Gem if you plan to regularly use Heavy weapons. If you are fighting Regular Female class titans, or specific enemies like Xyloto and Kuro Shino, get some good finger reflexes to press different directional block buttons when they perform their most intimidating acrobatic fury chains.

The accuracy of a slash determines the damage caused by the slash.

  • Weak Slash: 50% Damage
  • Normal Slash: 75% Damage
  • Great Slash: 100% Damage
  • Perfect Slash: 125% Damage
