Keys are used to open locked treasure chests or rooms. A key can be used when a triangular glowing sign (green, yellow, or black) with a key symbol appears. The player's inventory can hold up to five of each key type, and they cannot be sold or discarded.

- Starting price (Rebirth 1): 2,500
- Cumulative price increase per rebirth: 500
- Color: Green
- Function: Unlocks chests containing common items, low-value gems, or gold slightly exceeding the key's cost.
- Acquisition: Can be bought, found in chests, won in battles, or occasionally picked up.
Medium[]
- Starting price (Rebirth 1): 5,000
- Cumulative price increase per rebirth: 1,000
- Color: Yellow
- Function: Unlocks chests with better rewards than small key chests.
- Acquisition: Dropped by stronger enemies; rarely found lying around.
Large[]
- Starting price (Rebirth 1): 100,000
- Cumulative price increase per rebirth: 5,000
- Color: Black
- Function: Unlocks five specific black chests and a room near the top of the tower, leading to imprisoned Deathless. Rewards include rare items or significant gold.
- Acquisition: Bought in the store or dropped by difficult Titans or Deathless. The first large key is awarded after defeating MX-Goliath.
- Design: Resembles a regular key, with one end forming a circle with seven rays, the eighth being the key itself.
