The Stronghold
Larioth is a region in the Infinity Blade saga, prominently featured in the 2013 final installment, Infinity Blade III. Players can experience Act I: The Anomaly at Raidriar's stronghold and the surrounding area, and after completing the act, they can continue with Siris or Isa in the Explore Quest Uriel's Dream.
Description[]
- The Explore Quest reads:
- Uriel's Dream: Raidriar once kept many valuables here. Beware - his guards will defend them, even if he can use them no longer.
- The Act Quest reads:
- The Anomaly: Raidriar has made the ultimate sacrifice - it must not be in vain. Retrieve the Worker of Secrets' datapod from Raidriar's stronghold in Larioth to find what information it contains.
- The Dragonslayer Interlude Quest reads:
- The Hills of Larioth: The Dragon is wounded and has been spotted in Larioth. Destroy her before she can recover and wreak further devastation upon the land.
Geographical features[]

The region consists of rocky outcrops with a savannah-like climate: dry, yellowed grass. Mountains rise in the background, accompanied by various flora and natural growth. During the events of Act I: The Anomaly and Uriel's Dream, the sun is featured predominantly, suggesting a hot temperature with the plains receiving ample sunlight.
Around Raidriar's stronghold, there is a lake with dark-blue water, devoid of visible plants or aquatic life. While ecosystems may exist beneath the surface, the construction of the chain hauling mechanism, which pulls the boat toward the castle, may have driven any animals away from the area.
The Stronghold[]

The Lake[]
Before entering the Stronghold, man-made structures like an ornate jetty and archway are visible at the lake’s edge, suggesting the chain mechanism and boat belong to Raidriar (and formerly, Uriel). After defeating the first Titan, a chest appears to the right, and another on the jetty after the second Titan. These chests were likely placed by the Stronghold’s inhabitants.
In Act I: The Anomaly, tapping the second chest icon triggers Shell, who opens the chest, takes the FireBrand, and says, "Thanks for your help, handsome." Siris remarks, "What? Who are you? Seriously? Where are you going?" Later, at The Hideout, Siris humorously refers to "stealing" the FireBrand, which she later sells on the ship.
Ba'el, Pisci, or Dragoor can appear here, with the latter two showing up after Ba'el's death. However, when their health hits 500, a bug may cause them to disappear, preventing the player from finishing them off.
The Harbor Room[]
In The Harbor Room, where the boat enters, the chain mechanism is visible. After defeating the Titans, a normal chest on the left and a medium chest are available to open.
The room’s decor reflects Uriel’s wealth and Raidriar’s luxurious lifestyle, with stained-glass windows, paintings, and statues. A chandelier hangs from the ceiling, and lanterns are placed on the columns. Candlestick stands line the black-and-white checkered floor, while an ornate gold and purple rug leads to the double doors. At the far end of the hall, a painting of Raidriar in his Helio Armor sits on his throne. Gold-decorated doors open at the hall’s end, leading to hallways to the left and right. Siris can only take the left passage, while Isa takes the right.
The Left Wing[]
Statues featuring the Tree of Larioth shield, with an eagle emblem above their heads, are visible in the room. The purple-gold rug continues along the floor, and lanterns hang from the ceiling. The Titan in this room is notably higher-level than most others, typically an MX-Scorian or similar, with the exceptions of Ryth, The Collector, and Soulless Raidriar. At the end of the hallway, there is a beige chest, marking its first appearance in the series.
When playing as Isa with her Solar Trans-DX at the start of the quest, opening the beige chest or special box on the balcony triggers Ryth to be seen pacing below. He drops the Solar Trans-MX.
The Right Wing[]
The Right Wing contains rugs and lanterns, similar to the other areas. It features a long spiral staircase leading up to the balconies above the Main Hall. This area is only accessible by Isa.
The Main Hall[]
Upon entering through the double doors, a golden-purple rug leads to an archway with eagle banners on either side.
Layout[]
- After defeating the Titan, Siris moves into a massive atrium.
- Statues featuring the Tree of Larioth shield are positioned on either side.
- A small chest is found to the right.
- Above, a chandelier with a sparkling statue of a tree is displayed.
- Stairs lead up to double doors that open into Raidriar's office.
- Isa’s Action: Isa can access the right balcony, where a chest is located. She can then leap across the gap to the left balcony, revealing the chest.
- Stairs lead down to the left to the balcony above the Left Wing.
Raidriar's Office[]
Act I: The Anomaly[]
- During Act I, Siris kicks open the doors to hear Soulless Raidriar clapping. On subsequent visits, Siris opens the doors normally.
Decor[]
- The office is decorated with a toggle-able fireplace. Behind it is a secret space containing The Worker’s datapod, teleported by Raidriar.
- Vases and stained-glass windows are scattered throughout the office.
- Raidriar’s desk features a Tree of Larioth design in the center, with laboring figures holding the desk’s corners.
- The chair has lion-like creatures as armrests.
- A skull and an open book are placed on the desk, along with boxes.
- Above the fireplace, a painting depicts Raidriar spearing Ausar, with the Vile Blade lying next to the body.
- Paintings near the door show Raidriar in armor and royal robes, seated on his throne.
- The office also contains a library with bookshelves on either side of the desk.
Chests[]
- A large chest is located on the left side, while Siris' special chest is on the right, which can only be opened if Isa possesses the Lock Pick I skill.
Significance[]
- This is the location where Siris retrieves the datapod and defeats Soulless Raidriar. After being questioned, Raidriar attempts to self-destruct, marking the first instance of self-destruction as a fast-transportation method.
Trivia[]
- This location can include 7 Titans for Siris to fight, not including Soulless Raidriar, and 6 for Isa.
- The amount of time skipped in the Forge/Cauldron/Gem Forge after completing a quest here is roughly 4 hours, making it roughly 34 minutes per Titan. It's the 8th best place to use for time skipping. However, upon completing the story quest Act I: The Anomaly, it skips approximately 9h25 minutes.
- Siris asks why Raidriar's Seringal attacked him, showing his confusion over Raidriar's personally trained Dark Knights being ordered to repel him, due to their previous cooperation. However, Dark Knights are randomly spawned in, and there is a chance Siris will not face a Dark Knight during the entire Act.
- The Ausar in the painting is greatly exaggerated, reflecting Raidriar’s landmark achievement of slaying Ausar.
- Even if Isa has her Solar Trans-DX equipped and Ryth appears, Ryth’s spaceship will never be seen flying in.
- An unreleased ambient track plays outside the Stronghold, also featured at the Hideout, similar to Safe Harbor.
- Inside the Stronghold, the main track is I Can’t Escape My Sins by Josh Aker, which derives its name from Siris’ dialogue concerning his past life as Ausar.
- During the fight with Soulless Raidriar, a faster tempo and louder version of I Can’t Escape My Sins plays, reprising the "Raidriar"/"They’ll Be Coming For You Now" theme from the boss battles in Infinity Blade I and II.
- When playing as Isa, the second chest at the end of the jetty rewards a considerable amount of gold, an unusually high amount compared to common drops in the early game, often considered a gold glitch.
- The Collector has a tendency to spawn as the second Titan standing on the jetty.
- Occasionally, the first Titan can be replaced with a circle, demonstrating that a Dragon will appear upon tapping. Sometimes, a Titan such as a Feral Troll is eaten by the Dragon before the regular Dragon combat commences.
- Many of the paintings in Raidriar's office are inspired by famous historical portraits, including:
- Pope Gregory the Great (Jacob De Wit)
- Napoleon I on his Imperial Throne (Jean Ingres)
- Napoleon I in Coronation Robes (Anne-Louis Girodet de Roucy-Trioson)
