Soulless Ausar is a minor character, appearing in Infinity Blade III, being added in v1.3.
Description[]
Soulless Ausar is a creation of Ausar's Cult, conducted by Zuorsara, High Priest of the cult, this facilitated by the Worker of Secrets as part of his plan to sow chaos across the wider region as a diversion while preparing for his main objective to cleanse all life from the planet.
There is little information outlining how exactly Soulless beings are created, their resultant nature and personality, and how this might be influenced in terms of what memories they possess. The original Ausar as a Deathless warlord was regularly recounted as being ruthless, cruel, and egotistical, these traits also being expressed by the Soulless. It is unclear the extent that he has actual memories of the original Ausar, this fact that he did recognize, such that he would claim to have "Secrets even the Worker knows nothing about" in a ploy, as this would be improbable given that the Worker had a part in facilitating his resurrection. It is unclear whether his adamant belief in being the real Ausar is also true in his mind, or deliberate exaggeration as part of conveying the image of him being the real Ausar.
Soulless Ausar uses the The Vile Set as his former being did.
History[]
Infinity Blade III[]
Awakened during the battle between Isa and the High Priest Zuorsara, he ambushed Isa from behind with The Vile Mace, snapping her neck. After Siris was warned by Isa, he went to confront the Soullless in the ruins of the Temple of Lantimor. In the remains of the atrium, Soulless Ausar perched on a makeshift throne of various slain Daeril. Even upon his defeat, the Soulless remained convinced he is the real Ausar due to his implanted memories. Siris declares that the Ausar's memories and legacy will die with him, as he impales the imposter through the chest. But before he is finished off, Soulless Ausar grabs Siris in defiance and throws both of them toward the bottom of the ruined stairwell, killing himself and leaving Siris to be reborn.
Gameplay[]
Soulless Ausar is a regular titan, and fights using the light, heavy and dual classes, but is unique in being the only titan who can fight using multiple weapon classes while not being able to change class mid-battle (also preventing any titan perk from being deactivated). If he has equipped The Vile Shield during the reveal cutscene, he will fight using a light weapon, else he will fight using either a heavy or dual weapon which will not be known until the battle is engaged. He is first encountered at level 125.

During combat, the following characteristics come into play depending on the weapon class used:
- The Vile Blade (Light) - When performing regular attacks, Soulless Ausar doesn't fight much differently from other regular titans. His shield bashes always aim for the center, and it borrows only one unique move from the Worker of Secrets in which he feigns a downwards slash to switch to a sweeping slash from the right. His fury chains are shared with other titans and carry few hits, although all of them contain shield bashes.
- The Vile Mace (Heavy) - With The Vile Mace equipped, Ausar shares a tactic from the Worker of Secrets when he steps back before performing a slash from the right. He has two easy fury chains recycled from the Brutal Gin, however his hardest fury chain is borrowed from Ryth in Infinity Blade 2, where he performs a three-hit barrel roll from the left, a center stab, and finally a sweeping slash from the right.
- The Vile Thorn (Dual) - Soulless Ausar will frequently use cross-blade strikes for sweeping attacks, including the bugged version that can only be blocked by Light or Heavy weapons. Two of his fury chains are recycled from Plated Guard (IB3) and Mercury Golem. His last fury chain is unique (only later also used by Ryth in Infinity Blade 3). It involves him performing a quick center kick, following up with dual sweeping leg kicks from the left, and finally a dual swipe from the left.
Trivia[]
- Soulless Ausar's weapons and armor are more shiny than the equivalent that can be used by Siris.
Dialogue

- Ausar snaps Isa's neck, killing her.
- Ausar: "After I cleanse Raidriar's stain on my legacy, all will bow to Ausar."
- Second encounter (Siris)
- Ausar: "I came here for the fool who dared rise against me in Koroth, but instead I find you."
- Siris: "I am–"
- Ausar: "I know what you are."
- Siris: "No, you don't understand... You might remember Ausar, but your soul–"
- Ausar: "I am Lord Ausar, the ancient and mighty God! Not some mewling coward scrabbling in the dust with human vermin! You are nothing but a pale shadow of me, an insult to my great legacy!"
- After battle
- Ausar: "I am the only one with the memories of Ausar – secrets you can't imagine. Secrets even the Worker knows nothing about."
- Siris: "Ausar the Vile brought nothing but ruin and horror to this world. His secrets –and his legacy– die with you!"
- Siris stabs Ausar in the chest.
- Ausar: "NEVER!!"
- The Soulless Ausar pulls Siris down with him into a broken stairwell.
