Titans are characters in gameplay who engage in battle in Infinity Blade I, Infinity Blade II and Infinity Blade III.
Description[]
Titans are battled using the Aegis Forms, taking place as one-on-one duels, which is a broadly adopted practice in the in-game universe.
In combat, titans utilize a variety of attacks, including:
- Weapon attacks: Can be parried, blocked, or dodged.
- Body attacks: Kicks, punches, and headbutts, which cannot be parried.
- Shield bashes: Cannot be parried or blocked unless the player wields a heavy weapon.
In Infinity Blade II, some boss Titans also wield magic, allowing them to fire projectiles that can be parried, blocked, or dodged. Successfully defending or disrupting a Titan’s attack sequence triggers a break window, during which the titan is dazed and can be attacked freely for a limited time or a set number of strikes.
Infinity Blade III introduces a unique mechanic where certain Titans can change their weapon class mid-battle if disarmed. This occurs randomly through damage or parrying and more frequently when their armor or weapon is visibly scratched.
Battles occur in three segments:
- Early rounds: Shorter, requiring fewer moves to initiate a break.
- Later rounds: Longer, with Titans employing more aggressive attacks, known as fury chains. Fury chains consist of rapid moves, ranging from simple two-attack sequences to complex flurries of kicks or shield bashes that cannot be parried.
Titans' fury chains can be dodged or blocked for extended breaks. In Infinity Blade I, parrying any strike within a fury chain interrupts the sequence and resets the attack chain. In Infinity Blade II and Infinity Blade III, this rewards a full Parry Break.
Titan types[]
There are 8 types of Titans which are encountered throughout the series. An X denotes that the titan appears in that game; a blue X denotes that it is a non-boss titan that is encountered only at a specific location; a red X denotes that it appears only in ClashMobs; a green X denotes a roaming mini-boss titan; a bold X denotes a boss titan, and being defeated by them will trigger a new Bloodline / Rebirth / Awakening.
Please upload images of Titans. Ensure the file names are easy to locate with an understandable title likely to be found in a search.
Regular titans stand human-sized and fight similarly to Siris, sharing his weapon classes.
- Light: (IB1, IB2, IB3) Uses a single-handed weapon and shield (does not use shield bashes outside of stepbacks in IB1). The use of a shield does not inherently improve the titan's defensive capability.
- Heavy: (IB2, IB3) Uses a two-handed weapon and tends to use more body attacks (i.e. kicking). Weapon attacks are generally slower than the light class although do not deal anymore damage than they normally. In IB2, the Shade, Plated Guard, EXO-Pilot and Ryth fight in this form only, and in IB3, the Brutal Gin and Soulless Raidriar (first encounter) fight in this form only.
- Dual: (IB3) Uses twin weapons. Some titans and bosses perform a cross-slash which can only be center-dodged or blocked, depending on the player's weapon class. Weapon attacks are generally faster than the light class.

Regular titans which stand human-sized and are female fight similarly to Isa, sharing her weapon classes. They are more technical to fight against than regular (male) titans as well as other types, utilising faster and unusually timed attacks that include multi-strikes. Their stepbacks include such strikes, requiring dodges to be carefully timed and maintained for longer to safely evade multiple strikes per dodge. When Isa encounters a regular female titan before a fight, they usually attempt to ambush her, although are never successful which results in Isa shooting them with her crossbow (this appears to deal damage although it technically negated by the actual titan health scaling) and then they engage in a normal duel. In IB3, The Collector exists as both a regular male and regular female titan, the latter when wielding weapons that can be acquired for use by Isa.
- Light: (IB3) Uses a two-handed fine sword. In IB3, the MX-Ninja fights in this form only.
- Heavy: (IB3) Uses a staff/spear.
- Dual: (IB3) Uses twin daggers/talons. In IB3 Lelindre fights in this form only.

Large (light) titans stand larger than Siris and Isa. They are generally easier to fight against than other titan types. having more predictable attacks with normal timing.
- Light: (IB1, IB2, IB3) Uses a single-handed weapon and shield (does not use shield bashes outside of stepbacks in IB1). The use of a shield does not inherently improve the titan's defensive capability. In IB3, the Marrow Fiend fights in this form only.
- Dual: (IB3) Uses twin knuckle weapons. Weapon attacks are generally faster than the light class and include multi-strikes, although shield bashes attacks which are borrowed from the light class can now be parried with the lack of actual shield.

Giant titans stand hulking in size above large titans.
- Weapon: (IB1, IB2, IB3) Uses a large single-handed weapon and tend to use more body attacks (i.e. kicking, punching, head-butting).
- Column: (IB3) Uses a large column as a weapon, an object seemingly taken from the surrounding environment. Despite the large size of these columns, their attacks can all be parried.

Monstrosities are massive four-legged beasts. They fight using limb bashes and stomps, neither which can be parried and must instead be blocked or dodged (one attack requires standing idle to 'dodge' it). They also have a unique biting move which can be parried, but if successfully connecting, it initiates a quick-tap that deals % damage every second, until after some moments the player will be instantly killed and eaten. Monstrosities have higher health compared to other titan types, but experience longer attack breaks.

Titan Families[]
Paladins[]
In Infinity Blade I, paladins are Titans with elemental themes, granting them elemental damage and resistance aligned with their respective elements. In Infinity Blade II and III, they are succeeded by the non-elemental Iron Paladin.
- Frozen Paladin
- Inferno Paladin
- Storm Paladin
- Venom Paladin
Saydhi's Estate[]
In Infinity Blade II, Saydhi's Estate serves as a tutorial location with its own Titans, which do not appear at the Vault of Tears. In Infinity Blade III, most can appear randomly.
- Genno (giant)
- Kabuki (large, dual)
- Ronin (large, light)
- Saydhi (large, heavy, Infinity Blade II only)
- Shade (regular, heavy, Infinity Blade II)
Nocs[]
In Infinity Blade II and III, Nocs are a generic family of titans. Although not further described in written materials beyond their names, two Nocs are kept in Skycages. One of them, Xyloto, is renamed as High Noc in Clashmobs, serving as an apparent threat to the Deathless.
- Eyeless Noc (large, heavy)
- Petrified Noc (mini-boss large, heavy, Infinity Blade II only)
- Rabid Noc (giant)
- Rust Noc (large, light)
- Twisted Noc (large, dual, Infinity Blade III only)
- Xyloto (mini-boss large, dual, Infinity Blade II only)
- Zealot Noc (regular, Infinity Blade III only)
MX Titans[]
In Infinity Blade II and II, MX Titans are a generic family of Titans, characterized by their robotic nature. This allows some of them to perform inhuman physical movements, particularly during stepbacks.
- MX-Defender (large, light)
- MX-Elite (large, light, Infinity Blade III only)
- MX-Enforcer (large, heavy)
- MX-Goliath (monstrosity)
- MX-Hulk (giant)
- MX-Ninja (regular, female, Infinity Blade III only)
- MX-Scorian (large, heavy, Infinity Blade III only)
- MX-Stealth (large, dual)
Wretches[]
In Infinity Blade II and III, Wretches are a species of monstrosity that appear with varying levels of armor, which are functionally cosmetic during battle.
- Wretch
- Plated Wretch
- Pierced Wretch
- Iron Wretch
Perks[]
As of the v1.1 Soul Hunter update, new and more challenging implements have been added to Titans and bosses above level 1,000. Titans with Titan perks impose various limitations or increased difficulty, with the threat level depending on the assigned perk, the Titan's build, and the weapon class used. Defeating a Titan with a titan perk contributes to the "Whew!!!" Goal but provides no additional rewards.
- Normal Damage Resist: The Titan only takes 10% physical damage from all attacks. Gems that apply raw damage based on specific actions (e.g., "On Block, Attack Charge +1125" or "On Perfect Parry, Damage Titan 6250") are unaffected. If any Boss Titan have this perk, the Spectrum Defense will be nullified (Due to Spectrum damage also takes 10% of damage from physical damage). And Boss Titan will have 6 of 8 elemental resistences.
- Elemental Titan: The Titan has Spectrum defense and attack.
- Immune to Magic: The Titan prevents the use of Magic moves. This does not affect Rings that do not grant magic spells (e.g., Tidderan or Paga Circle).
- Immune to Super: The Titan prevents the use of the Super move.
- Super Fast Attack: The Titan attacks with increased speed, reducing the time available to defend or counter. This is particularly challenging for multi-hit moves like Kabuki's rotating sword swipes.
- Perfect Block Only: The Titan bypasses normal blocks and deals full damage. Dodge and Parry remain viable.
- Great Parry Only: The Titan bypasses poorly timed parries and deals full damage on a normal parry. Parries must be more precisely timed. Perfect Parries, Blocks, and Dodges are still viable.
If the Titan is forced to change class after being struck, the Elemental Titan, Immune to Magic, and Immune to Super perks are deactivated.
Tactics[]
- Normal Damage Resist: Use elemental enchantments or attack gems to bypass damage resistance. Items like Attack Charge potions or Damage Titan gems are also effective.
- Elemental Titan: Use Dual weapons for parrying and dodging, or practice Perfect Blocks. A Rare Defense Gem mitigates magical damage. High Attack or physical damage is necessary; Nullify spells address elemental damage.
- Immune to Magic: The Titan disables magical inscriptions. High Attack and physical damage are essential. Non-magical rings with custom gems or passive abilities bypass this. Use non-magic healing items before the fight.
- Immune to Super: The free Perfect Parry Break cannot be invoked. The Titan must be engaged without relying on this ability.
- Super Fast Attack: The Titan’s attacks are faster. Use Freeze spells and Titan Speed gems to slow the Titan’s attack speed.
- Perfect Block Only: Focus on dodging or parrying. A fully offensive strategy is optimal, and having a full Super or Magic meter increases survivability. Switching to Dual weapons improves blocking success.
- Great Parry Only: Block or dodge; use an offensive strategy or fill the Super/Magic meter. Consistent practice in parrying improves success rates.
Miscellaneous[]
- Some Titans never receive perks. Examples include Ashimar, the tutorial Iron Dreadnought, and Kuro Shino, which are regular Titans without perks.
- A Titan can only have one perk at a time.
- Instead of perks, Titans may receive debuffs or handicaps to make them easier to defeat. These can involve weaknesses to specific weapon types, attack types, or elemental damage, such as "Weak to Ice Attacks 5x" or "Weak to Heavy Weapon 6x." These debuffs are still counted as perks for the "Whew!!!" goal.
- Boss Titans with the "Normal Damage Resist" perk cannot have Spectrum defense, likely for a more balanced fight. They typically also have at least two elemental resistances removed.
