Infinity Blade I[]
The Zero Mech was piloted by Archarin. He is one of the final bosses in Infinity Blade I. Upon defeating it, Archarin will climb out of it and engage the player in battle. There is no break between the two fights, so there is no chance to heal using a potion.
The first time he is battled, the Zero Mech is extremely difficult (level 200). It is immune to different elements each time you fight it. It also wields a weapon with Drain attack. When Zero Mech is defeated, the player then has to battle Archarin. There is no break between the fight between Zero Mech and Archarin, which means there is no chance to heal using potions or change equipment.
Survival Mode[]
There are some strange properties with Zero Mech when facing him in Survival Mode. For some reason Zero Mech Awards Breaks significantly less frequently, and only seems to be able to be attacked with Stab Breaks. For that reason it is imperative that one always goes for Stab Breaks when facing Zero Mech in Survival Mode, guides for which are detailed bellow.
Stepbacks[]
Zero Mech has three Stepbacks
Jump back Swing Around
Analysis
In this Stepback Zero Mech takes a quick jump back, before stepping forward and delivering a slash from the right, then the left.
Avoiding this Stepback can be done in multiple ways, the most optimal is to dodge the first swing by moving to the right, than parry the follow-up attack from the left. This will give you a parry break which will grant the largest window to attack. It's worth noting that after the first slash a stab icon will appear on Zero Mech's side, however since stab break equate to less damage than parry breaks, its only recommended you press it if there is to little time to parry the final attack. If you're having trouble with either of these then holding shield will also work, it's just the least efficient sense it will give you the least amount of time to strike back, and Zero Mech can still deal damage sense he has attacks, provided you don't have a defense shield.
Shield Charge Slash
Analysis
In this Stepback Zero Mech bash's his sword and shield, before moving back a few steps, and then rapidly changing the center for a shield bash, and delivering a wide slash from the left, and then the right.
Avoiding this Stepback can be avoided in multiple ways. The most optimal is to dodge in either direction to avoid the shield bash, than dodge to the left or block to avoid the first slash, and than parry the final slash from the right. This will give you a parry break which will grant the largest window to attack. It's worth noting that after the shield bash a stab icon will appear on Zero Mech's stomach, however since stab break equate to less damage than parry breaks, its only recommended you press it if there is to little time to parry the follow up attacks. Alternatively, after dodging his first attack, parrying either of his two follow up attacks by swiping to the left or right respectively will interrupt the remainder of the Stepback and leave him open. Holding shield is not advisable here, as his shield bash can break through your guard and deal damage, so if you are going to shield, make sure to do it after his shield bash, and also make sure your shield has resistance so he doesn't deal damage and heal while you are blocking.
Shield Charge Slash 4
Analysis
This Stepback is at first very similar to his Shield Charge Slash 2 Stepback, where Zero Mech bash's his Weapons and Shields, before moving back a few steps, and then rapidly changing the center for a Shields bash. The difference comes after the charge, where now he performs two vertical overhead swings, and following up with a Shields bash from the right, and a Slash from the left. Making this his longest and most challenging Stepback.
Avoiding this Stepback can be done in multiple ways, the most optimal is to dodge in any direction when he charges at you, and then dodge in any direction to avoid his two overhead slashes, than dodge to the right to avoid the shield bash, when he goes for the Shields bash, dodge to the right, and than parry the final attack from the left. This will give you a parry break which will grant the largest window to attack. However this is easier said than done, and due to the difficulty involved in dodging so many attacks in a row, it be advantages to just parry the first attack after the charge to end the Stepback early, at the cost not getting any window to attack. It's worth noting that after the shield bash a stab icon will appear on Zero Mech's side, however since stab break equate to less damage than parry breaks, its only recommended you press it if there is to little time to parry the final attack. Attempting to block this Stepback with the Shields is unadvisable, as both of his Shields bashes will go right through it, if you are going to attempt to block, make sure to use a Shields with resistance so he doesn't deal damage and heal even while you are blocking.
Combat Tips[]
To avoid having to make the trek back to the dungeon: Once you are defeated, you can close the game by going to home screen and then completely kill Infinity Blade's process from the multitasking bar/menu (depends on iOS). Then restart the game and you will spawn in front of Zero Mech and be able to start the fight again.
Pick your weapons wisely. You may want to stick to a raw damage weapon since the elements that he is weak against changes each battle. You may be tempted to use the Dragoor tools from the Deathless Kings but make sure which ones you choose. For example, the shield is resistant to making it a suburb choice, as it takes away Zero Mech's ability to heal. But the Dragoor Blade deals mostly damage, which Zero Mech could be immune too, making it a poor choice when he has resistance, and making weapons like the Infinity Blade I (or any weapon that deals more damage than it while Zero Mech doesn't have resistance to it) the best option. The Dragoor Scale has high healing, which is especially useful due to the fight with Archarin immediately after.
As mentioned, there is no break between the Zero Mech and Archarin fights, so using a health potion after the fight is not possible. Using a heal Rings, preferably the Kward or the Dragoor Scale is great choice.

Make sure you have high health, as Zero Mech will do a lot of damage in higher bloodlines.
Infinity Blade III[]
Zero Mech returns in Infinity Blade III, appearing as a mini boss, which grants him access to Titian Boss Perks at level 1000 and above, Spectrum Defense and the ability to send you back to The Hideout upon defeat, similar to The Dark Knight. He's returned with unique sounds from IB1. Unlike in Infinity Blade I, he doesn't used any of his stepbacks. However, Zero Mech is far rarer in comparison, only showing up at one specific location, that being the second battle the Pinnacle Monastery as Siris. He will likely not be encountered naturally and will have to be summoned by repeatably going to those locations' multiple times.
Trivia[]
Zero Mech's eyes light up at various points in the fight. They glow red when he attacks, and blue when he does certain Stepbacks.
Dialogue
